Meeting: Fire Safety

Fire safety law states that anyone who has control of a premises, or some degree of control of premises, must take reasonable steps to reduce the risk from fire and make sure people can safely escape if there is a fire. This is a vital area for your charity to get right, but there are often complex issues to address. This meeting included a presentation on Fire and Evacuation and an open discussion of common problems.

The meeting also offered participants the chance to learn about the work of the Charities Safety Group and to meet the Group's members.

Date(s): October 2014

This meeting was hosted by the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO), the national membership organisation for charities.
