The Charities FM Group and the Charities Safety Group will hold a joint meeting about fire safety in October.
Fire safety law states that anyone who has control of a premises, or some degree of control of premises, must take reasonable steps to reduce the risk from fire and make sure people can safely escape if there is a fire. This is a vital area for your charity to get right, but there are often complex issues to address.
This meeting will feature a presentation on Fire and Evacuation issues, as well as an open discussion of common problems.
We will also have the opportunity tolearn about the work of the Charities Safety Group and to meet the Group's members.
